The Gold State Coach, the carriage that has carried every British monarch to their coronation since 1831, recreated as a Christmas ornament in solid brass plated in 24-carat gold.
Commissioned in 1762 for George III and designed by Sir William Chambers, the four-tonne coach is covered in gilded carvings of tritons, cherubs and palm trees, and is drawn by eight horses. It carried Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 and King Charles III in 2023. Our ornament captures its gilded body, painted panels and great wheels in near-total gold — one of our most breathtaking designs, and one of our best-selling royal Christmas decorations.
