Friendship 7, the Mercury capsule in which John Glenn became the first American to orbit the Earth, as a 3D Christmas ornament in 24-carat gold-plated brass.
On 20 February 1962 Glenn circled the planet three times in just under five hours, and America's place in the space race changed overnight. Our ornament recreates the small, cone-shaped capsule in fine detail — for collectors, space-history fans and anyone who remembers where they were that day.
A luxury Christmas tree decoration and the perfect gift for space history fans and admirers of John Glenn. Presented in our luxury gift box, ready to give.

Caring for your ornament: dust gently with a soft, dry cloth, avoid polish and cleaning products, and store it in its gift box after Christmas.
